Yes. I'm not working anymore this week. We're planning to go with my family to a friend's house on the beach some day this week and hoping to go out to other places as the opportunity comes.

Yep, the whole of Australia pretty much closes down for Good Friday. Petrol stations and the like will still be open, but otherwise most places stay closed. I'm going to hang around on the bag, read and enjoy my day off!

I work at a hotel, so we are not closed. I plan to leave early and go have some beers with my boss.

Well, in Australia everything is supposed to close down, but the petrol stations and such are open. Of course TV still runs... In Victoria every Good Friday they run an appeal for the Royal Childrens Hospital. One of the best in the world. This year will be the 76th year the appeal has been running. Last year over $10 million was donated. My step-daughter is the local area manager so this Good Friday, as in the past, she will be organising the fund raising in this area and I will be sitting in the local scout hall counting coin! (Do any of you realise how dirty money is! Yukky stuff!!!)

Yes, my office is closed. I will drink coffee, read the paper, go to the gym, mow the lawn, play with my dog, conference call with my direct reports (sure, the office is closed, but I've got sales reps in the field), play rugby with the Kansas City Rugby Club, and go out for beers and bar food afterward. That's just about it.

Yes the Office is closed on Good Friday but that does not mean that we could not get a call out. I will do the same as i usually do on a day off , not a lot.
