Sometimes, but only when I try to talk to someone who is busy, usually I won't talk to someone who will likely ignore me.

As I get older I have found this to be less and less true, however, I am also being exposed to more and more experianced and older people so it's kind of a losing battle.

yep definately, especially when i ask questions on answerbag. i've aske about 5 or 6 new questions in the past 2 days that noone has answered.

All the time. When I do not get a response to something I have said, I am led to believe that I am being ignored by people. This lowers my confidence and subsequently has made me very shy. For the record, my mum would say yes

Oh I know it for a fact. It happens to me on a daily basis. My husband doesn't hear even half of what I say. It's gotten to the point where I just don't say much to him anymore. If you have to continuously repeat yourself, after having to yell "HEY!" just to get their attention, it's not worth it.

Yes, and it makes me feel bad; especially when I'm pouring my whole heart out. It's as though sometimes their stuff is more important. Don't worry there is always someone that will listen to you and you know who that someone is. Be encouraged.

Yes. I don't mind too much though, I don't really expect anyone to listen to me. I talk more to myself than anyone else, and most of the time even *I'm* not listening.
