Question

Help answer this question below.

Does anyone remember a cinnamon rolled pastry made by a company called Baker Boy? It was wrapped in cellophane (I think) and had about 8 slices all pushed together. I remember eating it in the 60's and early 70's.

I remember oh so well. I could almost eat the whole package. A glass of cold milk and the cinnamon loaf or rolls, whatever you call them were so delicious. I loved them.
Did you have any luck on finding any information. I thought it was baker boy as well but the baker boy does not look like the same. I would love to find the recipe if the company is no longer in existence. Let me know.

Yes, however I think they are no longer sold in retail outlets. You may want to look closer at the site to see if these goodies are available in your area: http://www.bakerboy.com/Default.htm

    Yum!

Harry and David has what looks like what I remember BakerBoy looked like. Can't buy it separately, though. It is in the catalog.

I remember those. They were much more pastry than cinnamon roll. I haven't seen them in years.

Yes, I grew up in Southern California. It was one of those mistakes that became
a sensation. A batch of a cinnamon pecan roll product was prduced with no
leavening. I loved it's dense nature because it did not get soppy when dipped
    in milk.

If any one finds a recipe, please copy me. lanwantek@yahoo.com

    Thanks

I have been searching for years for a place to buy this wonderful pastry. Was my all-time favorite dessert many years ago...can't even imagine why it is not still on the grocery shelf! If it is still being produced, does anyone know where I could get some?

I have been searching for baker boy vienna roll, for several years. I am glad to find there are others who remember it and would like it again. I remember first eating it in Miami, FL in 1953 or 54 when I was 4 or 5 years old. Later in the 1960's my Mother was able to buy it in Huntington, WV. I am sure it was the product that was made in LA (California). Interesting my Grandfater was a baker also. As was the Grandfather of the other respondent. Someone please find how to make this fabulous pastery.
