  • drink lots of water... i mean crazy amounts of water. Drop the soda, the coffee, the juices. everything you may drink right now... STOP. and replace that with ICE water... you'll see the difference... and do sit ups... lots of them. all different kids. do some weight training too... muscles burn fat.
  • I find that the best way to tone my stomach is by doing a combination of sit-ups, and an exercise where you lie flat on the floor on your back, legs straight out, and you slowly raised your legs up and hold them up for as long as you can, before slowly lowering them. Start out by only doing an amount you feel comfortable with. Both of these exercises strengthen and tone the stomach muscles. You will also need to incorporate more fresh fruit, vegetables, lean meat and water into your diet. Along with the stomach toning exercises, try and get outside and walk. The fresh air and sunshine will do wonders not only for your health, but it has been proven to lift the spirits and general mood of a lot of people. Take it slow - too much weight loss in a short amount of time is counter-productive and dangerous. Good luck!
  • The most important thing is diet, and to supplement diet you should do cardio. This means running, jogging, etc, anything to get your heart going. A billion situps will do SOMETHING, yes, but it's NOT the most efficient way to do it. Also, for building the muscles in the abs (though I bet you don't want a 6 pack) you need to treat them like any other muscle, low reps and sets with resistance.
  • To create a slimmer stomach diet is the key, especially replacing all drinks with water. This is the secret. Also reduce breads, cakes, cookies, etc to almost nothing. If you do both of these you will not need to do stomach exercise of any kind. For exercise do a sport you enjoy.
  • you could do a million sit ups and still have a paunch cause they are layered in fat..our muscels might get stronger but it would not get flatter.so first drop the pounds in a sensible way.eat right.combination of cardio and strength..and in due time have the abs that you desire..its just simple science..good luck
