A Big Coat like Columbia, North Face, Spyder, etc Big Gloves.. Leather jackets and leather gloves are for 30 degree weathers. anything below that, you need big coats.

dare someone to stand outside for 10 minutes without wearing a jacket, hat, scarf or anything else like that. then lock the door as soon as they go out and see how long it takes for them to get frostbitten all over

I could not do without my fireplace and wood, plus the firelog starters, and matches or lighters. I could not be without blankets, food, water, or my little radio. However, if I had the computer, tv, electricity, and phone working, that would be great!

Food and water, just like any other time. Some type of heat. We have a backup propane tank and a gas burning fireplace for emergency use, should the power go out.
