No. Although I do agree with the argument that over-investing on Counterinsurgency and trying to create a magical democratic Afghanistan free from the Taliban, and under-investing in homeland Counterterrorism decreases security in my home country. Give the money to MI5 and MI6 - we will get better protection from them in London than we can get from the troops dying out in Afghanistan.
