i'm a boy but i recall what my teach said.. It's like when your ovum's dead,it flows out and "scratch" the wall along the way out.. that's why there's blood and it hurts.. i guess

it is not necessary pain in stomach to all women. different women feel pain in different parts of body.like in backbone,right or left leg or lower stomach pain.

If by "stomach pains" you mean cramps, this is caused by your uterine muscle contracting as you shed the endometrial lining. If you are refering to gastrointestinal pain, hormonal shifts that cause you to get your period cause fluid shifts in your body which can cause diarrhea and GI pain.
