For those whose adult children live in other states, do you visit them or do they visit you or both?

I have 2 grown children that live more than 30 miles from me and they are not in another state...they are in different countries...Japan and Italy....I would love to be able to go see them, but way to expensive to.

It's both and has been since the early 1980's.

Both. My son lives in Honolulu and we visited him for ten days in July. He regularly comes to the mainland for conferences (he is a teacher) and always stops by for a visit. He and his fiancee may visit us for the holidays but there are some things that need to be resolved first so I'm not certain of that. They did visit us in July for a couple of days! :)
