If possible, i would devise a method in which the robot functions as a human. A form of biofuel that would use similar structures to the human body's. This way you can power your robot simply by feeding it leftovers in the fridge!

I would personally use a googolplex of microscopic solar panels on the surface of the robot's skin with a rechargeable battery somewhere near the bottom of the spine that would be waterproof and sturdy.

Using a very compact nuclear reactor. The reactor would be used to operate a generator which would power a hydraulic pump (to operate the limbs). All other electrical power would be diverted to use for the artificial intelligence computer system and any cool self-defense weaponry.

Every robo has inbuilt batteries which get's charged from direct current or by sunrays.
