Take a genuine interest in other people. Not that extroverts really are. By comparison, extroverts are shallow and don't really think about anything - that's why they're so free. So, you shouldn't want to actually become an extrovert. Introverts are deep, but tend to be self-obsessed. The cure to self-obsession and the isolation that comes with it is to put that depth of mind and soul to work reflecting on and connecting with other people. You have insight, understanding, and empathy: use them. You still may not be the life of the party, but you'll not only be invited to the party, you'll have a life.
