What makes white men more desirable to women of all races?

It depends on the woman. It is physical attraction with many, but then that is personal preference and, I would bet, an equal number are attracted to other ethnicities when personal preference is the only factor.

Sadly, this is not always the only factor.

Some women would look at white men as wealthy and stable which would be attractive to that sort. They would also be thought of as a status symbol for those impressed with such.

I do not have a high opinion of people who do what I just described.

Also, it seems that lighter skin is considered more desirable than darker skin in many parts of the world.

I am lucky that my non white self has always gotten plenty of attention from the Ladies.

So, where's all these women looking at white guys?

White men are usually not "locked in" to a culture with all it's traditions, rules and norms. They can be more flexible and rarely come from a culture where women are dominated by men. Therefore, women are treated as true equals, independent thinkers and a partner.
Of course, there are exceptions. This is just a generalization based on the question.

Also the media in America and in most places around the world usually put light skinned people on a higher pedestal, but that will change in time.

Skin colour in general does not make a greater desirability in any race but their own.
That is to say people still marry and date within their own ethnicity than any other.
Research has shown that the fetish of skin colour (that other than one's own) exist in a extremely low percentage. In general then the majority of women in the world, considering that 5 billion people are non white, would not find a white man desirable.

White guys aren't appealing to me unless they are Mediterranean. The northern european people to me aren't attractive. The fair skin isn't my cup of tea. Most black women prefer white guys that are mediterranean anyway. I'm African American, and I don't like white american men of northern european descent or white men from northern europe. I don't see too many asian women with white guys that are mediterranean. I mostly see the asian women with white guys that northern european. I think spanish and portugese men are so handsome. I hope I marry one someday.

Not sure we are. When I was in the military in the Far East, we were certainly sought after by many local women. I suppose they thought all American men were rich, even enlisted pfc.'s and airmen 2cd class. (lol) They were mistaken, but we did not discourage their delusion....

i'm not sure that this is an entirely accurate question! I do agree with badcube about people just marrying for money and a better life in some cases, but again not entirely accurate!
