  • the sensor or clogged line. there is a sensor that tells your electric fan to run. does your fan run when the radiator is hot?
  • Have you replaced the heater core? is water dripping on the inside of the car at the firewall?
  • I've had the same problem with cars that had blown head gaskets and cracked blocks. If the radiator, thermostat, and water pump all work then the only thing left is problems INSIDE the engine. And if it's been overheated badly and/or often then things are likely warped by now and thus possibly irreparable.
