i do hope you're joking, technology makes our lives easier, we no longer have to hunt for 5 hours to bring food to our tables, or walk 5 miles to a school. And all the information in the world is connected and readily accessible. It may not make everyone happy, but it provides greater opportunities to our civilization.

The problem lies in the fact that we have clearly not taken the technology that we have and apply it to it's fullest. It has certainly made life easier for millions of people. Other than your personal happiness, that's for you. You are the only one who can find that.

Technology isn't just there to make us happier, it's also there to improve our lives. Since humanity insists on using up resources so quickly, we need new technology to allow us to survive.
