• I have no idea who she is! She just showed up on the radar making nasty comments, like the other ABer I just emailed you about. I asked a question maybe a week ago regarding accidently DRing somene, but immediately URing when the score shows a drop. I wanted to know if the -5 would show up in a person's feedback. Tackle replied by saying "I don't hit either button."
  So, I didn't hit either button for her. I left a neutral comment, instead.

• If you hit the minus by mistake and then change it to plus only the plus shows up.
  I am beginning to think there are more Sockpuppets on here than real accounts and it is ABs fault for not making the policy clear.

• I think you're RIGHT in your assessment, Firebrand. But the rewriteen policies are QUITE clear. NO SOCKPUPPET ACCOUNTS. They don't enforce it, is the problem. We need to reinforce our borders!! Hehehe :D:D:D

• Well I have seen CLs tell people it is not wrong when the question is asked. Look up some of the comments in Sockpuppets. I had no idea that they had made the policy clear because people are so open about having then half boast about circumventing the PB with a puppet. I have been banging on about this for ages. Tackle needs locking away or banning. Why when they banned Jodie for life can these useless people that contribute nothing and just cause trouble be allowed to stay.

• Sorry for the long delay. It rained all day today. When that happens, hubby is home. So I have to share the computer :)

  They need to have the sockpuppet accounts to pad the roster so that they look good to advertizers. Sometimes it can be used as a legitimate and effective tool when someone isn't liked, too. I believe staff's hands are tied on this one. They can use it for banning, but very sparingly, because Demand Media stands by it's name. It demands a profit.

• The problem with that is that they are losing most of their best contributors. Every time I am away when I return I notice even more of the long term users have gone. These short term puppet account will do nothing for them. if they allow them to keep getting worse and it cannot get much worse they are biting the hand that feeds them.

• If has not stopped raining in the north here for weeks .My Cottage up North is right in the centre of the floods. Luckily that small area has been spared so far but the 300 year old bridge just down the road was washed away.

• Oh, no!! Is everyone okay?? Are YOU okay? Just 4 months ago it was announced that Georgia was officially over a 4 year drought that was the worst in Georgia's history. Since that time, including today, we have had no less than 4 major flooding events in the past 3 months. Oddly, it was a level 4 drought. Dang, that is A LOT of 4's, now that I see it written out! Very strange.

• See, they do not care that they lose quality, especially since the person cannot take their username with them by closing their account. The name count stays the same no matter who is using the board. It's about quantity for them. To people like you and me, we see the difference, and it means soemthing to us. But this is big business, where the bottom line is king. We suffer because of it, but that does not matter.

• Oh yes I am fine it is not the house I live in it is a Cottage in a Village in the Lake District a small fishing village. You can see Scotland from the harbour which is about 3 minutes away.

• I have to admit I am relieved to hear it. It would bother me to no end if a major catastrophe made it's way into your life. You've had more than your fair share.....far more than many people ever have to face.

• I do not live in that village Phillis that is up near Scotland I live in Cambridge a University City in the South East. which has some very impressive and beautiful buildings . Our first College had its foundation stone laid in 1201.
  This was not the User name I wanted. I signed on here once before and then when I tried to use the name again it said it was already taken >It was by me. But I have hunted for it and the name I wanted does not exist. This just came up close. The name I wanted to use was like my Email name the name of a bird Firecrest, So this name just happened. I did not really choose it.

• 1201?! I would LOVE to see those buildings up close! Speaking of seeing lovely things, I hadn't heard of a firecrest bird before, so I decided to see what must be a lovely bird. • You would probably love being a member of the Audoban Society! They do all sorts of treks and fieldtrips all over the world, besides a lot of wonderful conservation things, as well. And I did not know that cetti as a bird, too! You have a great deal of knowledge about these things. Do you study all continents, or Europe and the UK? I noticed thes firecrests are semi-migratory, with their flight path back and forth between those two areas.

• I just love to watch them I saw a lot of Red Cardinals in Maui last year. You do not get them over here.. I Like to follow the wildlife wherever I go.

• One thing I would LOVE to do is go whale watching. Their songs make me so very happy and contented! They are one of my strongest animal totems. We have TONS of cardinals over here! Did you know that? I'm not quite the bird fanatic, but I've had parrots whom I absolutely adored. Dobie was my African Gray. I had her for about 12 years before I had Isabella. There was a power struggle between the two that Dobie initiated, but in the end, Dobie lost. It was a terrible decision that had to be made :(

• I have never kept bird just watched and fed them. My Grandfather used to catch wild birds and ring them . I was only small it was to do with numbers and species at certain times of year. I was allowed to go with him when he took out his nets to catch because I was the only one that would sit quietly for hours. He taught me how to work the nets but I would not know now.
  I have swam with Dolphins and watched the Whales it is incredible watching the whales. I did not have the great emotional experience people are supposed to have swimming with the Dolphins. All I could think of what they felt like Wellington boots. Also the males can get sexually aroused with women very strange.

  I love dolphins. I don't think the makes could be any more of a turn off than the blasted monkey who once climbed up my hair, Rapunzel-style and started humping my head because I was on my period. Jeezus! That was humiliating, right there in the pet store! Are Wellington boots the ssame as rain boots? Really slick feeling?

• Yes they are Named after Lord Wellington over here.
  I hate Marmasets, one jumped up against the cage wire and ejaculated all over me in Perth Zoo in Australia. Everyone thought it was hilarious. I suppose it is funny looking back on it but I know it is not funny at the time. I have some very unglamorous photos of me with the dolphins I will look them out .
