2.40 m/s. Your image is just a reflection off of the surface of the mirror. Since the mirror isn't moving, the image itself isn't moving.

4.80 m/s The image is moving away from the mirror at speed 2.40 m/s. The image is by no means located in the plane of the mirror. Easy way to *actually measure* the speed of image is to use police speed radar on your image, as you ran. The radar will read 4.80. It is hard to argue with an instrument.

The answer is....0... m/s ! The mirror is not moving, it's only the reflection in he mirror that makes it appear to move.
