Is there manga categorized in both shonen and shojo?

Well first you have to take into consideration actually what shonen and shojo are: shonen is mainly manga that are action/adventure appealing mostly to males whereas shojo is romance and fantasy appealing to both but mainly to females. We see these two themes blended in movies and books but we haven't quite seen the mastery of this into manga. So no, I have not heard any manga that have been catagorized into both yet. Your closest would have to be Gamerz Heaven by Maki Murikami.

I know of manga that's not labeled either way, that may be the closest you'll find. but there's a lot out there that can easily be enjoyed by anyone.

Sorry^. I didn't mean to write it in the comment space, it was really supposed to be an answer. I think the closest you can get would be Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. I haven't been able to read the manga, but the anime has a lot of action. There is also some romance in it, so I guess that would be the closest you can get.
