San Francisco or the little city that couldn't. I would visit Golden Gate Park, go to the Beach, see the Cliff house, drive down Geary Blvd, visit St. Mary's cathedral, look around downtown, visit the Mission district, go to the Potero, visit Polk and Castro Streets, get arrested for public decency. Eat at a resteraunt on Union Street.
Walk across the Golden Gate Bridge. My friend is from San Francisco and she said it's awesome. Take some photos and enjoy the 'fresh' air.
Go to Boudin's bakery (the main one is near Fisherman's wharf, but there are others), get some fresh baked sourdough bread, and eat it with some Ghirardelli milk chocolate. Bliss.
Go to the Exploratorium. It's a fantastic hands-on place that provides all kinds of opportunities to participate in some of the wonders of science.
Tour their Chinatown, then go to Stars Restaurant and have seafood and champagne.
i went there for spring break about 2 weeks ago. its so awesome. you have to go to altatraz, it was so awesome. after the tour you could go underground the altatraz. you could bike the bridge to salsalito, go to union square, fisherman's wharf, a lot of shopping destinations, and best of all have fun. i did.
visit the union square. don't miss the westfield san francisco shopping centre. or u could visit alcatraz. if u wanna do something really fun, visit the golden gate with a few friends. they have bike rentals and you can ride a bike across the bridge. its actually really cool.
One of my favorite things is to go across the bridge to Sausalito and eat at a nice restaurant on the water.
