Facebook users: Do you use the Facebook chat much?

I can't figure out any of the games or chat on FB, Ed. I look at it, and it befuddles me. I have to hit "ignore" to all the requests of different things because I don't understand how they work. One day I would LOVE to do the chat thing with everybody. +5

Didn't even know they had a chat there. I do use Facebook, but am equally as sure I'm using it wrong. That's OK, though, don't really get it, anyway.

it sucks n i'd much rather prefer msn live but i have to admit i do use it sometimes.

I use it if I see someone on there that I need/want to talk to. I hate that it freezes up so much though.

No. I don't. My facebook friends and I usually keep in contact by phone since we know each other personally.

Not usually but I do have some people talk to me in chat occasionally. I mostly use Facebook to play games and to keep up with my sister's life...as well as my kids :).

Never - I don't use any IM option on sites or even with MSM or Yahoo. I find the online chatting distracting and irritating when requests keep popping up, when there are multiple conversations happening, or if its hard to terminate a chat! I usually hide my online status.

I only use facebook for playing games now haha how sad is that. I find the chat and writing on peoples pages and stuff confusing, i acctually prefer Bebo its easier to use :)

I keep it on and only use it if someone wants to talk to me. But that almost never happens so you know, whatever.

I've used it...but haven't been to Facebook in months. I'd go there more often if I had more friends to chat with. Any takers?

I do, but it is absolutely atrocious. Its barely functional at all.

If you mean the IM on facebook, I do use it occasionally...maybe 2-3 times a month at the most.

Every now and then I do, but it seems to log in and out a lot. For the most part though I'm a pretty quiet person, even on my regular IM clients, if someone wants to chat with me, it's better if they IM me and keep to conversation going.
