yes it's highly racist and let me tell those who don't know why: as we all know years ago slavery and racism was a big thing. when the Eurpeans went to Africa to gather slaves they saw two things which the put under the same now:Africans and Gorillas (monkeys). the monkey was used as a symbol and stereotypical characterization for people of african decent since then and is sometimes still used today, so even if they might not have intended it, what Google did was very inappropriate and racist.

I haven't seen it, but I will say she is one of the more annoying, or at least annoyingly covered, first ladies in quite a while. However, the ability to ridicule our ruling elite is an American pastime.

No. After all she is the President's wife and America is (supossed to be) all about freedom and the man she's married to is the leader of our country. Wouldn't it be ironic to censor (aka: take away someone's right to express themselves freely) when regarding the wife of the leader of the free (yeah right) country?

Yes. There is a little racism on this one. I usually hate it when the race card is played, but not on this one.

No, this isn't China. Google shouldn't have to monitor the sites it indexes for offensive content. That's ridiculous.

The problem with removing this caricature is where does it stop? This is definitely a racist thing, however, much of what is online is racist. Removing all of the racist material would be nigh near impossible. Beyond that, if all racist material was removed, what next is to go? Where does it end? For that matter, who determines what is racist?

If Google posted it, yes. Bad business move. If users of the service posted it, no. While I absolutely detest bigotry and racism, I cherish freedom of speech more.
