Of course. That is what we moms do my friend, without thinking...without seeing ourselves as victims or martyrs or making any big "sacrifice". You do it because that is who you are. If that is not true for you, you're definitely in the wrong business. The "Mom's Union" will kick you out ASAP! :)

Yes I do, I generally do not cook much (not much motivation when its just me) but when cooking for others always make sure I give them the better portions.

I have yet to encounter a situation where my meal was either undercooked or Burnt .... However ; I would definately serve myself those should the occassion ever arise .. +5

Yes, when I mess up a meal, the worst part always end up in my plate, by choice...my own.
