Who has highest priority in your life; your parents, your spouse, your friends or your children?

I can rule out spouse and children, since I don't have either. I would prioritise my parents before my friends in general, although there have been times when it's been the other way round.

Well I had a son last year, my first child, and he now holds top priority for me, no-one is more important in my life at this moment, not even me. When we first got a visit from the health nurse just after he was born, she was on her way out the door when she asked me how I was with him, I said that he was the most important person in the World, she rolled her eyes towards my girlfriend, his mother, and said "Don't you mean she is?", I said "No, he is", she gave me a look as if I was backwards or something, you see, she assumed the woman in my life deserves to be priority over my child, so she must have been a feminist, which is why she was immediately rushed out my door, the narcissistic bitch. Nothing would make my girlfriend more angry than me putting her above my son, such is her love for her child, but she is not one of those entitlement princesses who says some bollocks like "The best thing a father can do for his children is love their mother", oh no, she believes the best thing a father can do for his child is love them, not their mother.
