It depends on the situation. Sometimes you do have to let go though, and it is usually better to do it sooner rather than later. +3

Why not try to get his love? Love isn't like a Hollywood movie. If you let him go he might not come back. Look, try to get his love. THEN let him go if he won't give it. You tried, you KNOW where you stand, and life can go on for you.

I had a situation where we were very much in love and he had to move away. I just could not stand still and passively watch him walk away. I knew he loved me and I did everything I could to get him to stay with me. In the end it didn't work out but I am very glad that I pulled no stops. i have no regrets.

You may love someone but time will tell if he is worthy of your love. Sometimes we do make mistakes. If he says he doesn't love you let him go. One sided affairs don't work out. At times you make judgments from your head not your heart. You have to take the risks if you love someone Like the gambler said you have to know when to hold them and when to fold them.

Let him go if he wants to, otherwise, there's no harm in seeing how things may work out so would make my love an available option, within reason.

If it seems like it would better for them if you let them go, or they actually say that they don't want you then you should. If there is no problem with it and it's appropriate then you definitely have to try and get his love. You owe it to yourself and to him. FIGHT!!! =D +3
