Call the IRS and ask them.

The IRS can fax them to you in 15 minutes.

You can call the Social Security Administration, they will have a copy. Employers send the W-2 Forms to them, not the IRS. After reading the instructions for the W-2 Forms, I know that an employer can charge a reasonable fee to produce a copy for you (my company charges $15). The SSA can get a copy to you; however, they will charge $35 for this service. Any employer has a responsibility to send your W-2 form to the LAST KNOWN ADDRESS provided by the employee. If you did not let your employer know that you moved or that your address was incorrect, they do not have to provide you another copy, they fulfilled their obligation when they sent it out to the address they had on file for you.
