No. It's called acting for a reason. Plus, it's challenging for them to play a role that is completely opposite from them in real life.
That is why it is called "acting". They pretend. :)
Not for me. They take on parts that are not a part of who they are...stretching their talent.
I agree. If you are playing someone from real life you should look something like them. Also the actor or actress tends to look more physically attractive than the person they are playing.

Nah, it doesn't bug me a bit. Even people who like rock might not like the same type of rock they're trying to portray.
I kinda do, because rock music is one of my favorite things. However, if the person did their homework and is a good enough actor I think I could let it slide.
I just assume they aren't allowed to listen to rock, they need to be into whatever music is supposedly the most popular.
