The geeks would. They should enjoy quite a show right there.

I gave up on this cr*p a long time ago, after viewing several Star Trek vs Star Wars videos on youtube. It was readily evident that most of them aren't based on the science behind the SciFi shows at all...they were based on the wishes of people who obviously liked one show over the other exclusively. I mean, come on! You're pitting the technological and military capabilities of a Starship from the Star Trek universe against that of a Battlestar from the Battlestar Galactica universe? Vipers with lasers against a Starship with shields, phasors, photon & quantum torpedos, tractor beams, and transporters? Nuclear missiles from a Battlestar against a Starship with Navagational Shields are designed to deflect stellar debris at warp, and this doesn't even take into account shields used for combat? I'll give you this, though...at least YOUR pairing makes more sense! The capabilities are far more evenly matched! I dunno...it's too close to call. I'd say a lot has to do with the combat tactics and strategies used between them, with the edge going to the Rebel/Battlestar alliance. This because Cylon's aren't noted for their abilities to cooperate with others well.
