My son trained himself on the #2 end of things when he was 2 yrs old. He hated to have that mess in his diaper. But he wouldn't go #1 in the toilet until he was about 2 1/2! +5

My daughter started trying at around 23 months and decided she didn't want diapers anymore at 28 months +5

Both of my kids were trained prior to three years old. We did not rush them, it was more their choice than ours. We were happy with it though.
