I'd also recommend taking a vegetarian vitamin supplement. Some of these are designed to have less of the vitamins that a vegetarian is more likely to ingest sufficient amounts of and more of the vitamins that are more likely to be deficient in a vegetarian diet. They also are not made with animal products.
  • Make sure you're getting enough iron and protein. Take a multivitamin! Also, try Googling safe vegetarian diets and how to make sure you're getting all the vitamins you need.
