Help answer this question below.

For a week now have some websites been very very sluggish to surf too. they used to open really quick just like the others. Why might this be?

    Sunspots?

    Seriously, EM can play havoc with communications, especially satelites. My GPS has been acting a little wonky too lately. And since some satellite traffic goes via satellite, it IS a possibility.

    There is a possibility that it is your computer that is running too slow, which can easily happen if your Internet connection is a 56/kbps "dial-up."
    .
    Also, a disk clean-up and defragmentation should be regularly performed on your computer. I do both, at least once a day, on all 5 of my computers.
