Help answer this question below.
I'm thinking that some who go out dancing have no dancing skill at all, no rhythm, no nothing, but they seem to have a great time anyway. I would say interest in dancing means you are interested in being sociable so to that extent yes....it's the "skill" part that I would say "not so much sometimes"! :)
I would say an art in it's highest expression. Maybe a social skill on a different level.
Yes especially line dancing! Woo Hoo! lol!
Yes it certainly can be :D
Yes,I don't know about others, but pole dancing certainly is.
when you need to go to the can !
..depends..if I dance around my livingroom (as I often do)...no socializing necessary
I am a dancer and dancing is my passion and what I do
to let my emotions flow...
I guess you would need to have some people skills to navigate your way in a club, or be one heck of dancer...lol
Any sort of dancing is a social skill. It is a sad fact that many men only get up when they have had a few beers under their belt and then you wish they didnt bother.
It is usually a social activity that utilizes our athletic and mental abilities. However, even the uncoordinated can enjoy themselves if they are socially involved, the "skill" part.
So, I would conclude that the 'skill' part of dancing is taking part in the activity instead of declining.

The Quickstep? That is way too complicated my friend and I'd probably trip both of us. How about the good old-fashioned jitterbug? That'll get the juices flowing! :) ((hugs))
