This is a battle my wife and I fight late in the year. She takes the traditional approach, with all the glitter and lights, while I prefer leaving trees outside, where they can, y'know, live. (A fake tree is, to me, completely self-defeating. Which is why I also don't eat veggie burgers.) So here's my ideal tree:
