It is possible to eliminate head lice with just a comb. There are several companies that are based upon providing this service at a premium cost.
The real concern with permed hair is washing it before the chemicals have fully taken effect. If you are simply combing, it shouldn't be a problem. But, I'd ask your hair stylist just to be sure.

If she has lice, just combing it will not help.
In spite of the perm, you will probably have to use the lice shampoo, and removed all the eggs as well.
You can call your family doctor or a pharmacist. They can better advise you.
