  • I will be buying gifts soon. But Christmas is about celebrating the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ. There's no beauty in Christmas without that.
  • My Christmas shopping is done just like it was last year. I do not have enough money for Christmas so, well, that is that. Christmas is double time to me: I always work the holidays so I get double pay.
  • I have always believed that Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus. In fact, when I was younger, that was always the first thing I said Christmas morning, "Happy birthday Jesus." :-)   But I have bought some gifts ahead of time, but I'm on a tight budget this year. I even have to take out of my savings to pay for rent.
  • Christmas was not "supposed to be" a celebration of the birth of Christ. It was originally a winter festival, a time of feasting, and a time of celebrating a fertile year. Christians just kind of hijacked it. However, back to your question... I haven't started shopping yet. I'll probably make gifts for people.
