  • Yes, one easy way is simply to install XP as a virtual machine. Here is an example of a standard Linux desktop running multiple operating systems. Each OS runs in a different virtual desktop making switching between them quick and easy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CULbqZ3IbW4 You can also run in Seamless Mode http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGB3KbHKy4U
  • You actually have a couple of options. First one and most popular is to simply load both operating system on your computer (xp first) Then when You boot the computer you have the option of which one you want to start up. This is called dual booting. The following is a site explaining it using the Ubuntu version of linux. http://apcmag.com/how_to_dual_boot_windows_xp_and_linux_xp_installed_first.htm There is software out there that can help you do this.. check out Acronis Disk Director ... http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector/ The second option is to use a program inside windows called a Virtual PC. You install this program then run it... what it does is alow you to install another operating system inside of it. Microsoft has a free one but there are better ones as well http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=04D26402-3199-48A3-AFA2-2DC0B40A73B6&displaylang=en
