Help answer this question below.
Yes my dad is old ( 70 ) and hes open to all kidns of music, he lets me put electro dance super loud in the car.
I dont like most of the crap music nowadays never mind my parents etc.
I AM the "older generation" and besides Dio, Meatloaf, Led Zep, Tull,Nickelback, the Script,Genesis,Magnum, Whitesnake and Wagner,I have a very varied collection of compilations.
My partner doesnt listen to anything past the 6o's
My mum is currently in her early 60's. She raised me on Alice Cooper and 70/80's era Metal and she digs a lot of the current modern Rock/Metal stuff. She's a pretty hip granny.
Sure. But more commonly the younger generation likes the older music.
Yea me.
Yeah my Dad likes to listen modern day music (the crappy modern day music like chalga - which is bulgarian idea).
My Dad loves new bands, he knows them better than me!
Depends on what type and the artist/group. Even when younger I didn't like everything that was played and sung. Oh, I am the older generation.
I just recently discover that my Mom is into Usher. Eww!
No, the older members of my family listen to the music from their day.
i am the "older" generation ... and i can't stand 99% of the crap put out on the radio these days ... its been over 12 years since anything really sounded good
The Wife and I are close to 50 and listen to the latest Rock and Country and even purchase 3rd row seats to Taylor Swift Concerts!
My mother listens to black sabbath! It's SO embarrassing!
.
Especially when she does the air guitar thing.
.
Hey CT... nice profile.... here's some music for your approval... My mother loves em.
Yes, we do.
CT. . . . .could you define "modern day" music so I could answer you HONESTLY!
At 72 I am the older generation sweetie. I don't know what you mean by "modern day music" though. Perhaps you could clarify that. My two favorite genres are jazz and classical and that has never changed. I do appreciate groups like Steely Dan or Genesis or Kansas and the Beatles music was sublime. I don't like atonal music, or vile language, or music that is harsh and loud. I like lyrical, flowing, smooth music. I don't know if that answers your question my friend! :)
Nope I don't think so.
