    A rebus is a chart that helps people know how to pronounce words. For example, to pronounce "fear," you might have an "F" followed by a picture of an ear. In regard to chemistry, or platinum, the following web site should be helpful when searching for sounds and the correct pronunciation of words. Click on the speaker to hear the audio.
