If by gmail photos you mean photographs that have been sent to you as email attachments you will have to download them to your hard drive first. Picasa will find them, so select them in Picasa - click on the first and Shift/click on the last if they are all next to each other, or click on the first and Control/click on the others if there are pictures you don't want to upload between them. Once you have selected them all click on Upload at the bottom of the screen.
