  • It is an MMORPG. A very bad one. It takes over people's lives and completely consumes them. It costs about 15$ a month.
  • or, if you like, a very good one which is why people find it addictive it is however, just a game, and no more physically addictive than television people will always find something to waste time on
  • world of warcraft is an mmorpg that interacts with people around the world, there are 2 expansion sets to make the game more diverse and its 15 dollars per month. Once you first get them game u can get a big of a sorta mini addiction but usually after a week its gone, dont let the game consume you, remember it is only a game. I play it now and i think its a great game. Keep in moderation! for the technical specifications: You need to have a decent computer with about 2-4GB ram would be the best and a fairly good to amazing graphics card for good performance. The story line behind world of warcraft: there is no "story line" persay, its a sort of a make your own, you make your own guy design him, and quest and create ur own story, but there is a mini story behind, im not that familiar with it, but you can look it up really easily hope this help, matt
  • One thing that is missing from these comments is that there is a start up price.... $60 if I recall correctly. You have to buy the software to download on your computer before you can play. My husband is consumed by it which is really hard. He's been playing for a year or more. Once you're in certain situations (i.e. raids) you can't just pause it. You have other people counting on you, so if you have to go to the table for dinner in the middle of a raid, you cause them to lose. I reccomend it if you have self dicipline, if not, stay away.
