You are assuming that evil necessitates the exclusion of truth, or truth necessitates the exclusion of evil. This is a logical fallacy called Begging the Question, Circular Reasoning, or Petitio Principii.

It comes from a lack of knowledge and believing in things that are not true. Some sick people promote hate and ignorance. The light goes go when Humans realize we have much in common. Hate accomplishes nothing but misery.
