  • Talk to them, find out what they are interested in and maybe invite them out with you.
  • just be cool with them and let them know you want to be a (friend )..and only friend if thats how you want it to be.
  • This is usually a sign that I will actually end up NOT liking them... I've found that if my first impression with someone is poor, I grow to like them. (As many of you already know, I am dyslexic in more ways than one)
  • I'd just be friendly but not over do it - Until you know more about them
  • It depends on what if you think you like them but just want to be friends it is impossable to stop the enevable trust me....
  • be honest with the person from the start keeping their feelings in mind, don’t reject the person and don’t give false hope, you might have find a friend for life this way, I have found one this way 12 years ago and she is one of my best friends, God send them to us cause he love's us so much!!!!
  • I'd run like hell. I've been a pretty poor judge of character about those I've wanted to be friends with based upon first impression.
  • I always wait to see if the person I like seems interested in me too. For example, when I first went to my church there were alot of older people but one woman who was about my age always sat in the front row. I thought she seemed like a nice person. Then one day she abruptly sat behind me on purpose to ask how a problem was going in my life. So I called her shortly after that and asked her if she wanted to "do" lunch.
  • I'd say something like "I like your style" or "you really make me think"..as long as it is true, no one is going to take offense. You can tell from the response if it's a "go" or "no-go".
