Hmmm maybe its because women in america think they can do whatever they want and that their knight in shining armor will come to save them. And because us guys feel that, we have to become that knight in shining armor. And because women in other countries dont particularily look for a knight in shining armor, when he does come up (american guy) its like a fairy tale. I actually dont think women think like that in america though, i was just guessing XD
