Not sure if "hate" is the proper word, but the format is definitely too wide. Some web designers gotta learn that, sometimes, spreading things out makes a page LESS readable. And there are WAY too many ads!

Um, it was a little confusing at first. I don't dislike the layout although I agree there is a bit too much scrolling. I'm not sure the different sections actually work, there are factual questions in the social section, social questions in the shopping section etc, but that's what happens when you can't control your copywriters! I think the overuse of google ads is a very tacky. I feel like I'm having a conversation in a buy and sell mag.

It'd definitely different... a bit too spread out, too wide and you have to scroll down a lot. I like the amount of detail in the summary section, and it has a lot of stuff to offer, but it's format still needs some work. If we could have this detail, with the simplicity of the other, that would be great. Maybe keep the adds on the right side and the profile/activity box on the left, we'd never have to scroll right unless we wanted to look at the ads.

Its rather confusing...its like coming home and someone has rearranged all the furniture. It takes some time to find your way around. But some things are user friendly like having the categories on every page and also the cool blinking lights to show if i have new answers. so to sit it out a few days and see how we get used to it

It was nice and easy to use before. Now it has become very cumbersome. I do not think it is an improvement at all. Please bring back the old format!

I do. Its way too big, way too white (what is all that white space FOR???? The design they had was SO much better, why couldn't they just change/improve the functions, and leave the rest alone? It just bugs me now, every time I come on here.

I love it. Without change, things become boring. Give it some time. The former look was really "tired" in my opinion. Why don't you go to www.usps.com and check out the Star Wars design for the Postal Service.. that freaking thing will drive you insane, it must be turned off. :-)

right on..but you cant stand in the way of progress..i still get slightly confused navigating the new format..to me, the layout seems compressed..and all those unnessesary ads!..earlier in the day, i couldnt ask or rate..tonight seems fine. oh well..this shows the staff is propelling AB towards better days ahead..just wish everything went my way lol

I am still a bit overwhelmed... I feel like I was snatched out of my comfort zone. It is growing on me, though. I like the little answer/comment notifications though. One thing that bothers me is the shadow around the submit buttons. It is lighter than the button and makes it look fuzzy. It should be darker.

I like it a lot, not perfect yet. Took a while to get used to it. I hate some things: on the New Arrivals page I hate the light font colors (used to be dark blue question and black answers), and the small avatars. When I change headings in my activity area, the screen jumps up again.

No. I hated it when I first saw it. I still would like to see some changes. This isn't the final version. They are looking at comments and suggestions. Now that there is user interaction, I am adjusting to the change just fine. I was one of the beta testers. It seemed very lonely and impersonal. I do still think the "cozy" atmosphere is missing. But.....there are many features that I do like. Give it some time............ Just because the format has changed doesn't mean I have changed. Nor does it mean that any of us have changed. It's just a different skin.

Yes. The other one was just about perfect, graphically, this is crazy, tiny graphics lost in acres of white. HATE IT!!

This new design is cleaner and more contemporary. However, I find the site to be much more difficult to navigate. Additionally, my ability to rate is not working at this time, but was working about an hour or so ago.

Having spent a few hours getting to know it I think it's a huge improvement. It just takes a while to learn how to do things that are now done differently.

I don't hate it...I did like the old one better. You guys shouldn't rate him down, he doesn't like it, and neither did I at first. Its just his oppinion, so he should be entitled to it. Its not like he insulted god (unless you have no life what so ever and AB is your god)

No, there are more features and more functions on one page which I like. Yes, it did take some trial and error to figure it out but it works smoother than the prior edition.

Hate is such a strong word. I'm more disappointed than anything that I can't get it to work with Opera. Well, it works, it just looks ridiculous.

I honestly don't see much difference. Mainly because I started the day it changed, so for the first hours of the day (8 hours) I was getting used to the old one. So honestly, I learned most of it from the new form and I kind of like it. I think it's pretty. :]

I dotn like the new site. All things being equal, I dont get as many points for answers as I did in the old site. I may not stay if I feel Im answering without getting points

I don't care for it much. It's to "busy" for me. I also don't like the fact that you don't see how many points you get for a question anymore :(
