  • Being a woman is lot of work. With all the womanly things we have to go threw periods, child birth, the change of life. Although I love being a woman. Feeling girly.
  • I am a woman, and sometimes it is difficult being the main organiser of a household... having to keep a finger in every pot in order to keep life running smoothly for the family (in my case my partner and I - it would be much harder with kids). I get bothered that sometimes men do not take my mechanical abilities seriously, they seem to brush off any contribution that I make (at my current work, anyway, at my last work they appreciated it!). Being a woman is good, although I have no experience in being a man so I cannot compare :)
  • I'm happy with it. I have had the privilege of both being out in the workforce and spending time at home as primary caregiver to my daughters. As an Aussie woman, I haven't been badly treated as a whole, have had more than better chance at a good education and access to health care. Ihave the respect and support of my husband, and the trust from him to be involved in many independent activities such as prison evangelism, band gigs and orphanage support in Bali. Though it is seen as strange these days for a woman of my intelligence and education, I am happy to acknowledge my husband as head of our household, and I support him in this difficult task. He, in turn, always listens to me and takes on board my opinion, admitting his errors in humility. (however disputes are closed shop not in public).
