How can I stop someone from making threatning phone calls? I would like to get a protective order against them. How do I do this? I am worried because I have young kids.

A lot depends on the nature of what the caller threatens,and what he,or she,says. However,if they are frequent,or repeated,and if you actually fear for your safety,or the safety of your children,you should definitely inform the police,who will take the appropriate action to deal with this "nuisance" caller.

call your local police dept. and press charges if that don't work hit star 57 on your phone and it records your calland fcc will step in.
