Are social networking sites ruining teenagers (and adults) social lives?

sort of what I was thinking of last night and today, the interaction I get there and here makes me long for f2f.

i see it as people becomming less social, to live in a virtual world which lacks all personal interaction. in another words. i find social networks to be anti-social.

I dont think they are ruinning peoples life,actually thats how a lot of people are meeting. Personally ive found a couple of good friends on social networking and we keep up. I learn different cultures/life styles,its very interesting.My friend met his now wife through myspace!lol it sounds kinda weird but it happens. But once again theres always gonna be the possibility of danger through these sites specially the teenagers bcause of online sex predators,ect. and i think both teenagers and adults are in danger something like this could happen but teenagers have a higher risk since they could easily be presuaded.

Anyone who lets cyberspace anything "ruin social lives" would be ruined by something else so no, the sites aren't doing anything...it's the people using them! :)
