In equation form, calling the length of the equal sides X: 2X+(1.5X-3)=28.5cm , 3.5X-3=28.5, 3.5X=31.5, X=31.5/3.5=9cm. The third side would then be: 1.5(9)-3=10.5cm Check: 9+9+10.5=28.5cm
