I went when I was 11. It certainly was a Grand Canyon. Yes, I think everyone should see it once - it's breathtaking.
-
Yes, I have seen it several times and have camped at both Rims. It is beautiful and each rim shows a different beauty! The North Rim is more rural and definitely less visited.
-
Mere words cannot do it justice but I'll still use "awesome" and say that everyone should see it at least once in their lifetime.
-
I've not seen it, but if I tried to start digging a hole that size, I would indeed consider it as good as they say it is. +5

I have never seen it but would love too one day.
-

No never seen it. +5

Yes I have flown over it a few times and been down to the Camp in the base. It is incredible but I also have to admit that I have fallen asleep flying over it. It is a very big hole in the ground and the Colorado River looks really yellow from up above.
-
I was there 2 weeks ago.

imho, it's a definite *must do* at least once in a lifetime, the younger (adult), the better. An *incredible* place with little equal! = You *won't* be exactly the same again! ;-)

I have been to the Grand Canyon, and I loved it. However, if you don't appreciate the wonders of nature in all their varieties, such as desert, forest, river, rocks, dirt, and every other type of beauty, you will not appreciate the wonder of what this represents. Read the geological history of this wondrous place, and yo will have a better understanding of what you see.
