Generally, probably most do, though it is impersonal. For people in those cities/towns that still use parking meters, they can be very frustrating, especially when you are short of change.

I think the general feeling is one of hatred. However theres this guy in Kettering,Northants who as just been nominated the most prolific traffic warden in the UK,and guess what,hes one of the best loved characters in the town....
