the poor man whom I loved. Besides, the poor man could someday become rich, just as the rich man could lose everything. The rich man could also decide he wanted to divorce me leaving me nothing, or have me killed to keep from giving me anything. I'd much rather be in love and have the potential for more than be rich and still have nothing. Most of all.... when you look into the eyes of someone you really love, you see everything you need anyway.

Since most marriages end in divorce anyway, if I were a woman I would marry the rich man first, take him to the cleaners in a divorce and then marry the one I loved and we could live in the style to which I am accustomed.

Many women will marry the rich one. In order to feel less uncomfortable,they will find good features like: He is interesting, He has a great heart, He is a wonderful man, etc. An old, very ugly but rich man is an "interesting man". The same man, same age and same ugliness, if he is poor, he is just an ugly old fart. I say again...Money Talks, BS Walks...

It's such a hard choice... Rich looks nice, all wrapped in that shiny pretty package. But then after you're married, he has 4 mistresses cuz he just can't be happy with one sweet girl. He treats you like crap because he's better than you and he knows it. He will hold over your head the fact that he can have better women than you, his money allows him access to the greedy little gold-diggers with their fake boobs and their botox smiles. You'll never be equal in his opinion because you were "beneath him" when you came into the relationship. Hits you and puts you down, because you stepped off the plan he set in place for you and broke his rules. Never wants to take responsibility for anything cuz its 2 easy 2 buy his way out of everything. Yes, spoiling himself will totally backfire onto you. They never show that side when it's all fresh and shiny and new....they do it after they know they have you and they have pampered you and you'd never want to go back to "the way it was" Does that sound like Paradise or what?
