Help answer this question below.
In colder climates, dogs need and appreciate a warm house to retreat to. One option is the dog igloo, many of which are built with special features so that they are well insulated. Many dog igloos have walls built out of special foam that retains warmth. Getting a dog igloo that is big enough for your dog but still cozy will help keep the inside warm by using your dog's body heat. The doorway that gives an igloo its classic shape is small and narrow to help keep in heat and keep out cold. Many dog igloos have plastic flap doors that can be added to the doorway to further insulate your dog's house. Dog igloos with thick floors are better insulated against the cold ground. Specially made floor mats also can be purchases to give added insulation.Construction
