I just ate a 'Slim Jim' with an August '06 expiration date. It was pretty gross. How concerned should I be? ;-)

It was gross and you still ate the whole thing? I wouldn't worry, though, there are enough chemicals in those things to to prevent anything from living in them.

The worst that can happen is you will get an upset stomach, throw up, and maybe later get diahrreah. : D

If you were dumb enough to keep eating it after it tasted gross......................... you might get the shits, or a bad tummy ache doubt it will cause perm.damage

Hard to tell, those are gross whether they're fresh or not. But seriously, probably not a whole lot. If it was green and had worms all over it, then maybe...but those things are usually dried and stocked with preservatives, they're basically immortal. If you ain't sick now, the worse that's gonna happen is next time you go for a poop session, it may just smell worse than usual lol.

I eat stuff that`s out of date all the time and dn`t worry about it. Mind you I have a stomach of iron, I could eat stuff that would make a billy goat puke. But a 3 year old slim him would probably make me pretty ill. I would just try to forgot I ate it, maybe it won`t be so bad.

hard to say. they put a ton of preservetives in those and it's already dried out and vacume sealed... but it is meat.. i also had a friend who ate like 4 expired ones a few years ago and nothing happened. but then again yours is expired by 3 years so it's really tough to say.
